SPEAKER: Kendall Qualls, Founder & President

TOPIC: Take Charge

Kendall is a husband of 40-years to his wife Sheila, father of five and grandfather of two boys. He is a U.S. Army veteran and 30-year executive in the healthcare industry.

Kendall is also the Founder and President of the non-profit foundation TakeCharge, an organization that promotes that the promise of America is available to everyone regardless of race or social standing.

Kendall has a unique perspective shaped by rising from poverty in a broken home to senior leadership. He worked full-time through college, served as a U.S. Army officer, earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, and advanced through Fortune 100 companies to become a Global Vice President of Marketing for an $850M business unit.

He recently authored a book, The Prodigal Project: Hope for American Families.

For the meeting of January 7, 2026 there are 29 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $327.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. Congratulations Josh Clark for drawing the Ace of Diamonds and Brian Bessler for drawing the Ace of Clubs. They will be guaranteed 1/4 of the pot!
