Ann Bailey discovered DARTS services when her father’s Alzheimer’s disease advanced to a point where it began to take a toll on the family. She served on the DARTS Board 2010-2015 and has been DARTS President since 2015.
Prior to joining DARTS, she led technology teams at Target Corporation. Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
Ann, and her charming Rotarian husband, live in Apple Valley and engage in various community building activities. Ann serves on the board for Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging. She is an active member of South Robert Street Business Association and various Chambers of Commerce. She provides aging services perspectives to several steering committees including the University of Minnesota 10,000 Family Study and Fairview Ridges Healthy Communities group.
In her free time, Ann enjoys traveling (with her charming Rotarian husband) two trips a year to U.S. States drawn at random. She enjoys cooking with - and for – her charming Rotarian husband – and has a small garden to provide recipe ingredients.

For the meeting of October 9, 2024 there are 33 cards and 3 Jokers. The pot stands at $316.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
