SPEAKER: Dr. Abul Sharah, Founder, International Village Clinic & World Class English School
TOPIC: Program Updates
Dr. Abul Sharah is the founder of the International Village Clinic which provides medical services, both curative and preventive, for people in the poorest areas of northern India. He started this back in 2002, along with the opportunity for others to advance their knowledge of the English language through the World Class English School. Dr Sharah will update our club on the progress of these two programs.
Dr. Sharah’s prior professional background at Honeywell, in Minneapolis, was quite successful as he moved through various leadership positions. There came a time, however, when he decided it was time for him to make a difference in the lives of the people of India: his life changed after meeting Mother Theresa in 1989 by retiring and opening the first clinic.
