The Open Door—with the support of the community—is able to assist thousands of local individuals each month through a variety of programs designed to connect those in need with fresh, nutritious options:

  • Healthy food support at our Pantry, 12 Mobile Pantry® sites, and The Mobile Lunch Box, provided to almost 5,000 individuals each month.
  • Family Advocacy/Community resource referrals link families to critical, stabilizing services at social service agencies.
  • Garden To Table® program: 200 community garden plots, orchards, and perennial gardens, allows families to grow the food their family needs, free of charge.

Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of January 10, 2018 there are 11 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $1,401Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot.  If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot.  If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.  Congratulations to  Bruce Nordquist for drawing the Ace of Hearts and Ed Corbett for drawing the Ace of Diamonds.  They are guaranteed 1/4 of the pot!

Speaker Rotation - Who's Up?

Upcoming Speaker Rotation

The person in bold each month is that month's group chair to help facilitate communication.  Once your group lines up speakers, please let Justin Burleson know so he can update the calendar and Gwen will update the bulletin.  Thanks everyone for your work lining up speakers and hopefully this new process will further stimulate Rotary member interaction.
Please contact Justin Burleson with your speaker's topic and biographical info.
