Rotary Meetings going to in-persononly starting on April 13th
We as a board have decided to take our meetings back to in person only starting on April 13th. We made this decision with science in mind and trying to get back to a more normal meeting atmosphere. With the pandemic numbers falling drastically in the last month we felt it was the right time to make this move and wanted to give you some time to adjust your schedules. I also wanted to take the time to extend my and the board members thanks to Bill Butler who has since the pandemic started in March of 2020 been our zoom master! We have learned a lot about running meetings virtually and can now pivot back to the hybrid meetings if we have a surge in number of infections down the road. Also, if you do have a speaker in the future that can only speak through zoom then we will have that option for them.
For the meeting of April 6, 2022 there are 32 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $301.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. Terry Merritt drew the Ace of Diamond guaranteed 1/4 of the pot.
