SPEAKER: Eric Carlson, Apple Valley Parks and Recreation Director
TOPIC: Kelley Park Improvement Plans
Eric. Carlson is the Parks & Recreation Director for the City of Apple Valley MN, a position he has held since January 2021. Prior to coming to Apple Valley, Eric served the City of Inver Grove Heights as their Parks and Recreation Director and the City of Champlin as their Parks & Public Works Director.
Eric holds a BS in Recreation from the University of North Dakota, and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Hamline University. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE) through the National Recreation and Parks Association.

For the meeting of March 26, 2025 there are 36 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $159.00.Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. Congratulations to Tim Benetti for drawing the Ace of Clubs and Diamonds, and Brian Bessler for drawing the Ace or Hearts. They are guaranteed 1/4 of the pot.
