Service Projects
Apple Valley Rotary participates in a number of local and international service projects, either through donating our time, or donating proceeds from our fundraisers
Locally, we support –
  • Adopt a Highway – we have adopted McAndrews Road from Cedar Avenue to Johnny Cake Ridge Road
  • Adopt a Park – we partner with Boy Scouts to clean Kelley Park and Redwood Park
  • Produce Rescue at the Minneapolis Farmers’ Market
  • Feed My Starving Children
  • Loaves and Fishes at Easter Lutheran Church
  • STRIVE – working with kids in AVID at Apple Valley High School
  • Interact – sponsoring a group of young Rotarians at Apple Valley High School
  • Warm Hands/Warm Hearts – Providing mittens and gloves to those who need them in our community
  • 360 Communities – we collect food at our meetings for their food shelves on a monthly basis, and recently partnered with Rosemount Rotary to purchase a large refrigerator to store fresh produce donation
  • Dictionary Project - we give dictionaries to all third graders in District 196 in Apple Valley
