What Did You Miss?

Apple Valley Rotary Scholarship Foundation 2016 Raffle Is Here!

Raffle tickets starter packets were distributed (based on prior years' sales). The drawing will be held at Apple Valley Ford on October 15, 2016. The winner DOES NOT need to be present to win.

Tickets are 5 for $100 or $20 each!

First Price: 2016 Red Ford Focus

Second Price: Gas Grill

Third Price: $100 Cash (x 3)

Turn in your sold tickets weekly, and turn them in an envelope that includes your name, number of tickets and dollar amount on the envelope.

There will be lots of events to help sell tickets. Details to follow (as soon as we have them)

World Servants International Mission Statement: To mobilize a global network of people to impact the world through Jesus Christ through responding to physical and spiritual needs.

U.S. Mission Statement: To develop and facilitate life-changing learning and serving experiences that bring hope to the world.

Vision: Through training and short-term mission trips, our desire is to develop people as both servants and leaders in their everyday lives. We believe these learning opportunities will result in the transformation of individuals and communities across the globe.

June 22 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of June 22, 2016 there are 51 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $66!

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
