The Rotary Club of Apple Valley has a tradition of quality and enthusiastic members who have enabled our Rotary Club to thrive and achieve remarkable success in supporting community and Rotary International causes. We have a group of individuals who are proven leaders and professionals in our community, demonstrating professional growth, leadership and “Service Above Self” and who have the interest and willingness to support our Club and its important projects. Our members are our most valuable assets. They are the ones that allow us to carry out Rotary’s efforts to help so many people from young to old, serving our commitment to the community.
As we near Christmas we can be thankful for the fellowship in the Club, the many friends we have gained, the opportunity for leadership development and the many projects in which we participate to help our fellow man.
Working together, 49 dedicated Apple Valley Rotarians have achieved so much in the first six months of our present leadership. We would have accomplished so much less working alone. I am sure we will not rest on our laurels and will continue to work closely with President Bruce Nordquist as he continues to encourage us to set our goals high. Let's congratulate and thank our President, leadership team and members for all that has been accomplished and the fun we have enjoyed.
Encourage each other to continue to look at lofty goals and opportunities. Continue to share the Rotary story with your family, friends and potential members. What a nice Christmas gift to bring in a new member and share the excitement of membership in the great Rotary Club of Apple Valley. As we near Christmas, I am reminded that my dear friends John Gott and David Deach invited me to join Rotary 20 years ago. Without that invitation I possibly would never have known many of you and the benefits of Rotary. I was given a wonderful present for which I will always be very grateful. Let’s make an effort to share the Apple Valley Rotary Club success story.
Each one of you is special. We are fortunate to be members of such a caring and sharing Club. We can look forward to a very Merry Christmas and and outstanding and happy New Year.
