Speaker Selection
- Choose a speaker with a topic of information, educational, motivational, or entertainment value that will be of general interest to all club members.
- Refrain from controversial topics that could arouse anger and division among members.
- Avoid repetition – look for a new speaker and a fresh topic.
- Refrain from political or religious topics. Rotary International is a non-political and non-religious organization.
- Avoid representatives of non-profit organizations when their primary purpose is to solicit funding.
- Refrain from product or service promotion.
