Bob is a long time Bloomington resident, originally from Waterloo, Iowa. he was a sales/marketing rep for the Minnesota North Stars in the late 80's. He spent 12 years as a stay-home dad with two daughters before starting a second career as an independent author. His first book was Minnesota North Stars: History and Memories with Lou Nanne. He spoke to your club in 2015 about his second book The Twins at the Met. And now, he will be talking about his latest book, The Twins in the Dome, featuring entertaining stories from my interviews with Hrbek, T.K., Bert, Torii and others. Rotary Ethics Workshop!
Apple Valley Rotary Club along with Eagan Rotary Club will be hosting a Rotary Ethics Workshop with the students of Eastview High School and Apple Valley High School.

For the meeting of April 10, 2019 there are 17 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $726! Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
