SPEAKER: Dan Jasper

TOPIC: Mall of America

Since opening its doors in 1992, Mall of America has revolutionized the shopping experience and become a leader in retail, entertainment and attractions. MOA® is one of the top tourist destinations in the country as well as one of the most recognizable brands.

Dan Jasper has been at Mall of America® for the past ten years. In his role as V.P. of Communications, Dan oversees Public Relations, Social Media and Digital Strategy, Community Relations, Domestic and International Tourism, as well as our Enhanced Service Portal.

Apple Valley will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross.

January 27 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of January 27, 2016 there are 26 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $766.

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. Clint Hooppaw drew the Ace of Diamonds on December 2 and Greg Miller drew the Ace of Club on December 23. They are guaranteed at least 1/4 of the pot. Congratulations Clint and Greg!
