Rotarians Out and About!

First shift at Booya, the Apple Valley Fire Department annual fundraiser. They let Apple Valley rotary sell tickets for our annual fundraiser as well. Just another example of the ways that the people in Apple Valley work together to take care of our community.

Apple Valley Rotarians are out in our community, you can find them in many places serving in many ways. This is just one example. Rotarians Clint Hooppaw, Gwen Aaberg, and Eva Cheney-Hatcher helping serve food with the Loaves and Fishes program.

The drawing will be held at Apple Valley Ford on October 15, 2016. The winner DOES NOT need to be present to win.

Tickets are 5 for $100 or $20 each!

First Prize: 2016 Red Ford Focus

Second Prize: Gas Grill

Third Prize: $100 Cash (x 3)

Turn in your sold tickets weekly, and turn them in an envelope that includes your name, number of tickets and dollar amount on the envelope.

Pop Tops - Alan Player is still collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House. He greatly appreciates the support!

September 21 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of September 21, 2016 there are 41 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $334!

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. Congratulations Terry Merritt for drawing the Ace of Diamonds! This guarantees him to win at least 1/4 of the pot!
