Technology in Pubic Safety

Tom is the new Executive Director of the Dakota Communications Center. He was previously the Public Safety Systems Manager overseeing all aspects of public safety applications including Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Police/Fire Mobiles for the 30+ members. Tom was a police officer for the Apple Valley, Metro Transit and Minnesota State Fair Police Departments. Tom also worked as a criminal prosecutor with the Dakota County Attorney’s Office and trained attorneys in electronic legal research at Thomson Reuters. Tom has a physiology degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
