What's new this week?

The club's website is a place where the public and members alike can learn about what Apple Valley Rotary is doing in the community, both locally and globally. It's a place where prospective members can learn about membership, what to expect at an upcoming meeting, and how to get involved with the club.

It's also a place where, behind the protection of individual passwords, we can store club rosters and other information of value to club members but that we'd prefer be less public. The website software also hosts our club billing and attendance systems and keeps our club connected with District 5950 and Rotary International.

This presentation will include a very brief overview of the club site, but will most be focused on questions and answers from our club members to help them get the most from the site.

November 18 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of November 18, 2015 there are 35 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $531.

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
