What Did You Miss?

The Annual Fundraiser final event was coupled with World Polio Day. Hats off to Apple Valley Ford for donating $50 for every car sold on October 24th to Rotary's Polio Plus Fund, which will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation for a total of $150 per car sold! They sold 20 vehicles that day and presented a check for $1,000 to Rotary Club President Eva for Polio Plus, with the matching funds from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, this becomes $3,000.

November 4 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of November 4, 2015 there are 37 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $486.

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
