What Did You Miss?
At last week's meeting (June 3), we inducted new member Tony Baldwin. Congratulations and welcome, Tony!
Supporting Steve Mattson
Our fellow Rotarian, Steve Mattson needs us.
Steve and his wife, Mary, are both experiencing health issues and are grateful for all the support shown by his fellow Rotarians. Please continue to leave messages for Steve on his Caring Bridge Site:(http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/stevenmattson/mystory).
Two more areas where you can continue to help.
Steve and Mary need meals delivered to their home. Meals should be prepared in disposable dishes and ready to be served when delivered. Please include a note explaining what the dish is and providing any cooking instructions.
Both Steve and Mary need rides to doctor visits and/or rehab.
Sharon LaComb has graciously agreed to coordinate our effort; please reach out to her at 952-210-0941 (call or text) or at sharonlacomb@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance for being generous with your time and resources. And my thanks to Sharon for the coordination and efforts over the past few days to make sure Steve and Mary have the support they need.
Please keep Steve, Mary and their family in your thoughts and prayers.
Speaker Announced - June 10 Club Meeting – See you there!
Dr. Myron Henrickson & Joe Sterling will present an update for the Jamaican Dental Mission. 1000 Smiles/ Great Shape, INC.
is the non profit organization for our volunteer dental and teaching opportunities in Jamaica. Dr. Henrickson has for several
years, volunteered his entire dental clinic, including his son, Dr. Michael Henrickson, for teaching and dental
care in Jamaica. Most recently, Dr. Henrickson spearheaded a Denture Procedure Program that now is part of the curriculum
at the Dental University in Kingston, Jamaica. This model could very likely be duplicated for other developing countries.
