Happy Birthday, Apple Valley Rotary!

On March 27, 2015, Apple Valley Rotary celebrated 30 years of Service Above Self. President Bruce whipped up some beignets as we filled our bellies with great food and our hearts with great memories.
Click here to read a history of our club and learn more about how we've spent the past three decades making Apple Valley a better place to live and work.

What's new this week?

It is FoodShelf Wednesday.  Bring a non-perishable food item(s) to donate: 360 Communities greatly appreciates your support!

Speaker: Terry Wagoner

Topic: Downtown Minneapolis and other Stuff

Terry is a past President of Apple Valley Rotary and is a very interesting guy who does  what is called, “Downtown Ambassador” for the City of Minneapolis.  His mode of transportation is a “ Segway”.
It should be a fun time and a good reunion with a great member from our past.

April 1 Weekly Raffle Update

For the meeting of April 1, 2015 there are 44 cards and 2 Jokers. The pot stands at $187.

Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot.  If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot.  If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again. David Kingsbury pulled the Ace of Diamonds on March 18th and is guaranteed at least 1/4 of the final pot.
